This notice confirms the terms of engagement between you, the client, and King Tax Solutions, LLC for the preparation of your federal and/or state income tax returns for the current tax year.

Scope of Services

King Tax Solutions, LLC agrees to prepare your individual federal and applicable state income tax returns based solely on the information you provide. This engagement does not include any audit, review, or verification of the information you submit. We will not audit or otherwise verify the data you submit, although we may ask for clarification or additional documentation.

This engagement is limited to services for the current tax year only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide all information required to complete your tax return(s) in a timely, organized, and truthful manner. You are responsible for:

Retaining all supporting documentation (e.g., W-2s, 1099s, receipts, proof of deductions, etc.).

Reviewing the completed return(s) for accuracy before submission.

Confirming that all dependent, income, and deduction information provided is complete and accurate.

Ensuring you comply with IRS rules, including eligibility for credits and deductions claimed.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax return and for payment of any taxes, penalties, or interest that may arise from inaccuracies or omissions.

Our Responsibilities

We will use our professional judgment and knowledge of tax law to prepare your return accurately based on the information you provide. If we discover any information that appears to be incorrect or inconsistent, we will bring it to your attention and may require supporting documents.

We will electronically file your return(s) unless instructed otherwise. We will provide a copy of the accepted return via email. Additional copies requested after the initial delivery are subject to a $15.00 service fee.

Termination of Engagement

Either party may terminate this engagement at any time in writing. If terminated, you will be responsible for any fees incurred up to that point.

Acknowledgment of Engagement

By signing below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this engagement notice. You acknowledge that King Tax Solutions, LLC is not responsible for any consequences due to the omission or misstatement of facts by you, the client.

I understand that to accurately prepare my Schedule C, I must provide all necessary documentation, including but not limited to:

• Prior year tax return (if available)

• Income records (1099s, invoices, bank statements)

• Expense receipts & invoices (advertising, supplies, office, travel, meals, repairs, utilities, contract labor)

• Vehicle expenses (mileage logs, receipts, insurance, lease/purchase documents)

• Business assets & depreciation records (equipment, furniture, Section 179 forms)

• Insurance & employee expenses (insurance invoices, benefit plans, payroll)

• Taxes & licenses (business licenses, sales/property taxes)

• Loan & interest statements

• Other supporting documentation for any additional expenses claimed

I agree to email them to intake@kingtaxsolutions.com. I understand that my tax preparation may be delayed if supporting documentation is missing or incomplete.

I understand that a refund advance is a bank loan offered through Refund Advantage® and is not guaranteed. I acknowledge that additional bank or processing fees may apply if I choose this refund product. I authorize King Tax Solutions, LLC to submit my refund advance request and share necessary tax and personal information with Refund Advantage® and its participating bank.

I understand that once my refund is released by the IRS, my refund will be sent to Refund Advantage®, applicable bank fees and tax preparation fees owed to King Tax Solutions, LLC will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be disbursed to me according to my selected refund delivery option.

I acknowledge that I can review all fees on my Tax Return Summary and Fee Disclosure documents prior to signing my tax return.

I certify that the information provided is true, correct, and complete to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that claiming credits I do not qualify for may result in penalties, delays, or audits.

I understand that I am financially responsible for all tax preparation fees, regardless of the outcome of my refund.

If there is a balance due to any taxing authority, I understand that I must pay the tax preparation fee upfront.

If my refund is offset (partially or entirely seized by a government entity due to debts such as child support, student loans, back taxes, etc.), I acknowledge and agree that:

I am still responsible for paying the full tax preparation fees for services rendered.

If I fail to make payment arrangements directly with King Tax Solutions, LLC, I authorize the company to attempt automatic recovery of the unpaid tax preparation fees using the banking information I have provided.

If payment is still not successfully recovered, I understand that King Tax Solutions, LLC reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid fees through legal avenues, including but not limited to theft of service claims as defined under the laws of the State of North Carolina.

Additional Terms

If an amendment must be filed through no fault of the preparer, a $125.00 upfront fee is required.

Once your return is complete and in  “transmitted” status with the IRS and your state, a copy will be emailed to you. Any additional copy requested will incur a $15.00 fee.

All fees, including bank and service fees, are listed within your return. These fees are non-refundable and non-negotiable. No exceptions.

Please use www.irs.gov to track your federal refund and your state Department of Revenue website to track your state refund. Do not combine refund amounts. Federal and state refunds are processed separately.

Please allow at least 8 weeks from the date of submission before contacting the IRS regarding your refund status.

You will need your filing status, Social Security number, and the total expected refund amount (before any fees).

Federal law requires that we obtain your written consent before we can use or disclose your tax return information for any purpose other than preparing and filing your return.

By signing below, you authorize King Tax Solutions, LLC to:

✅ Use Your Tax Information To:

Offer you additional tax-related services such as audit protection, refund advance options, or identity protection tools;

Notify you of updates, tax law changes, and relevant financial planning information;

Contact you about future appointments, document requests, and service reminders;

Communicate with you via email, phone, or text regarding your return or related services.

✅ Disclose Your Tax Information To:

Financial institutions, service providers, or tax product vendors as necessary to process your tax refund, bank product application (if applicable), or to fulfill the services you requested;

State or federal tax agencies as required to resolve issues related to the filing of your tax return;

Authorized third-party providers who assist in preparing, filing, or securing your tax information (only when legally permitted or required);

Any individual(s) or entities you have authorized in writing.

Your tax information will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes, and no disclosures will be made without your consent unless otherwise required by law.

This consent is valid for one (1) year from the date of your signature, unless revoked earlier in writing.
